Mazdutide is a GLP-1 drug developed by Innovent Biologics, which, unlike semaglutide and tirpatide, targets glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptors and glucagon (GCG) receptors. Activation of GLP-1 receptors, which can suppress appetite and delay gastric emptying, thereby reducing food intake; Activation of GCG receptors can promote liver lipolysis and enhance energy expenditure, thereby improving fatty liver.
